Slender GR

Unique support for the dieter and “non-dieter”

Each single capsule dose contains powerful ingredients for an all natural, stimulant-free approach to healthy weight management.*

The synergy of ingredients in Slender GR can promote an increase in fat metabolism, help maintain normal blood sugar levels and reduce oxidative stress that so often accompanies weight loss. Each dose of Slender GR contains powerful, proven ingredients for an all-natural, stimulant-free approach to healthy weight management. Slender GR and the enzyme blend Glucoreductase are featured in Eat for Life – The Ultimate Weight-Loss Breakthrough (Harvey Diamond).

Recommended Usage: Take 1 Slender GR capsule 15 minutes before each meal. 2 capsules may be taken with larger meals or meals containing starch (pasta, bread or similar). 1-2 capsules may also be taken with a high calorie food or beverage. Daily dosage 3-6 capsules.

Triple Action Formula

All Natural, Stimulant-free, Triple action formula

 – Optimizes sugar and fat metabolism

- Encourages a Lower Glycemic Index

- Supports healthy detoxification

Optimizes sugar and fat metabolism*

Slender GR includes a proprietary enzyme blend called Glucoreductase which has been shown to optimize sugar metabolism and help maintain normal blood sugar levelsi. Slender GRTM also includes a lipase Thera-blend to improve the proper metabolism of fat. A deficiency in the natural production of lipase may adversely affect the digestive system’s ability to properly digest fat, impacting lipid metabolism and ultimately body fat levelsii.

Encourages a lower glycemic index

With carb-friendly ingredients, Slender GR supports healthy metabolism of carbohydrate rich foods to maintain normal blood sugar levels and encourage weight loss. The proprietary enzyme blend Glucoreductase converts starches to form soluble fiber. This conversion of carbohydrates decreases the glycemic index of the foods consumed and promotes healthy digestion.

Supports healthy detoxification

The Gluten-free Rice Bran and Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) in Slender GR may promote healthy detoxification, encouraging a comfortable and mild cleanse.

Rice Bran: Walter Crinnion, a practicing Naturopathic physician and reviewer for the New England Journal of Medicine reminds us, “Elevated levels of fat-soluble toxins have been associated with weight gain. Rice bran will help increase the amount of toxins we eliminate. The more toxins you encourage to leave your body, the easier it will be for your organs of elimination to do their job, and for your metabolism to burn stored fat for fuel.” An additional benefit of the Rice Bran is that it helps establish and feeling of “satiety,” therefore promoting reduced meal portions.

My question is, I have fibromyalgia…have been trying so many things to
relieve me of my muscle pain. My last experiment was with INVIVE, a mild
silver protein. I had been using it for the last three months, it was to
kill mycoplasma germs that can cause fibro. This helped in other areas,
but not my fibro.

I have come to realize that I might have a build-up of fibrin in my
tissues, that will not allow the cleansing of my tissues, because I seem to
be getting worse.

I came across Repair Gold, I understand this will take out fibrin, will this
also help thin my blood? I have been also using renewzyme, but only 1
capsule a day. Would the nattokinase in Cardiozyme help me also, of which
I understand they don’t make it out of soy, like the Japanese do. I read so
many articles about products with Nattokinase and Serratiopeptidase and get
confused as which one is better. Do they all work the same, or is one
better than the other. One says that both will dissolve fibrin, please
advise. I spent so much money on things that don’t work. Thank you for
all your help. -DB

Dear DB,

There are many factors that contribute to fibromyalgia. These include: viruses, yeast and other infections; trauma; heavy metal toxicity; other toxicity; medication side effects; food sensitivities; and others.

My approach to fibromyalgia is to determine which of the above factors applies to you and reverse them.

For example, many people are sensitive to grains. I suggest that you experiment with removing absolutely all grains, including brown rice, from your diet for at least 30 days. This will eliminate cereal, pasta, bread and pastries from your diet. You can do it.

Fibrin probably plays a role in fibromyalgia. You would benefit from taking one Repair Gold and one CardioZyme twice per day. Hold off on the Renewzyme until you have finished at least one bottle each of Repair Gold and CardioZyme.

To help your body fight infections that may be contributing to your pain, take one Life-Immune twice per day.

For more information on the proper diet for correcting fibromyalgia, read Harvey Diamond’s book, Living Without Pain.

Dear Harvey,

I just finished reading your book fit for life and have been following the regiment for just 2 weeks now but plan to live my life like this from now on. I always ate healthy and have been an athlete from a young age. In December 2010, I developed intestinal problems quite suddenly. After a week of constipation, doctors in Athens where I stayed gave me the strongest laxatives they had and eventually admitted me to the hospital. They were unsuccessful in helping me and I left the hospital. The only thing that gets my intestines working is a herbal remedy called Herabalene, which you take orally. I have seen many gastro-enterologists and holistic doctors since then, in the US as well as Athens, but they haven’t found anything medically wrong with me. I take the Herbalene every three or four days in order to go but this has gotten quite tiring and frustrating, especially because I’m such a health freak. I never ate fried food, I don’t drink sodas, I’ve never smoked, I don’t drink ANY alcohol and I love fruits and vegetables. I was wondering if you think that in time, through following the fit for life program, it will correct itself and I will stop having a “sleepy intestine”. Have you had any other people consult you with similar problems that have been helped by Fit For Life? Any information would be greatly appreciated and thank you for publishing such a great book. Best regards,

Hi GB

Like any other malady of the human body, the best chance of improvement or recovery lies in cleansing and strengthening the body’s own healing mechanism through proper diet. Your diet sounds to be excellent so it’s possible that you are dealing with some type of physiological obstruction. However since you have been to gastroenterologists who have been unable to diagnose anything that may not be the case. In the past when I have been confronted with similar situations such as yours, if the person went on 72 hours of ONLY fresh fruit and vegetable juices, followed by one week of ONLY raw food, the problem was dramatically improved and by doing a series of such a regimen over time even corrected itself.

I think you would receive a lot of good information and help from one of my other books called FIT FOR LIFE: A New Beginning. If you read the book pay special attention to the sections on The Lymph System and Periodic Mono-Dieting as they are the path to cleansing and strengthening the body. The book is in paperback and is available online. You also might want to consider taking digestive enzymes whenever having cooked food to further assist your body. In your case I think this would be extremely important. Personally I never, under any circumstances, eat anything cooked without them. The difference in the way I feel is significant. If you are interested, here are the ones I take.
I wish I could be more definitive in giving advice to you regarding eating fruit in conjunction with a diabetic condition. Of all the maladies that can occur in human beings, diabetes is without a doubt the most troublesome and challenging due to the numerous unknown variables that can come into play with this condition for each individual. What I can tell you is this: some people with diabetes have done very well following the FIT FOR LIFE recommendations, including the eating of fruit (correctly of course), and others have not. I wish I knew the answer to why that is but I don’t. All your brother can do is follow the recommendations while keeping a close eye on his condition and see which category he is in. I wish I had something more to offer but diabetes has been a great enigma for me and the scientific community for decades. As much as I would like to, it is nearly impossible to give a recommendation as to how much fruit your brother should eat without very close monitoring, which I am obviously not able to do, so it will have to fall on the shoulders of his health care provider. I have noticed that those with Type II diabetes have a much easier time of it when it comes to eating fruit—correctly of course. But even those with Type I have had some success.

The following is a brief section of Living Without Pain:

“The one exception to all of this is, of course, when breakfast consists of the one food in existence that does not require any digestive energy in the stomach and therefore does not hinder the elimination cycle in any way. It passes through the stomach relatively quickly and is broken down in the intestines, where it does indeed turn into available energy in less than an hour. The food to which I am referring is……fruit. Unlike any other food you eat, no matter what it is, fruit fruit requires no digestion in the stomach and so therefore does not hinder the elimination cycle.

Let me be crystal clear here so there is no doubt about what I am recommending. From the time you awaken in the morning until at least 12 noon, you eat absolutely nothing other than fruit. Not a single bite of toast. Not a teaspoon of cottage cheese. Nothing but fruit, fruit salad, fruit juice, or fruit smoothies. As much as you desire. Some people can have a glass of orange juice and a banana and not want anything more until lunchtime. Others want to have grapes or a peach or an apple every hour. No problem. You can have as much or as little as it takes to see you through until noon. And don’t forget, whatever you have must be fresh and unpasteurized, or else the purpose is defeated.”

Dear KG,

There are many things that can be done for bursitis. Avoid over use of your shoulders. After the acute stage of the condition is over, slowly increase the intensity of appropriate exercise involving the shoulders and the muscles that support them. Apply pressure and rub the pressure points around the bases of your index fingers that correspond to the shoulders. Acupuncture and massage therapy can help.
Many people are sensitive to grains. I strongly suggest that you experiment with removing absolutely all grains, especially wheat, from your diet for at least 30 days. This will eliminate cereal, pasta, bread and pastries from your diet. Also, avoid night shade vegetables (peppers, white potatoes, egg plant, tomatoes) for at least 30 days. Otherwise eat according to Harvey Diamond’s guidelines.
Read Harvey Diamond’s book, Living Without Pain: Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Their Cause and How to Overcome Them Naturally! Eat living foods according to the guidelines therein. This alone may solve the problem.
VP Nutrition has several excellent products that will help with bursitis. To help with food sensitivities that may be contributing to the bursitis, take one DiamondZyme with each meal. To help with inflammation take 2 RenewZyme capsules three times per day on an empty stomach, 2 LifeGreen capsules three times per day and one Life EFA capsule three times per day.
You should be able to find the following supplements at a health food store. Take hawthorn standardized tincture 2 tsp three times per day for 3 to 4 weeks to repair damaged collagen. Try the homeopathic remedies arnica, sulfuricum acidum, ruta graveolus, and rhus toxicodendron.	Drink 2 eight ounce glasses of black cherry juice per day.
See a physician to rule out fracture and infection if your symptoms do not improve in a couple of weeks.
It differs from anxiety in that it is brought on by a traumatic event. Sometimes, when individuals go through the death of a loved one, a car wreck, or even less stressful situations, residual stress can result. New research has been spurned regarding PTSD, especially with regard to individuals in the military. New research has yielded some very interesting and potentially beneficial information. The studies conducted were meant to focus on how the brain reacts to stress, and even how it can heal. The benefits of the techniques suggested are therefore very long term and permanent. The following are 5 ways to help support the nervous system. Some of them may actually be surprising.

1. Meditation boosts mental resilience and can reduce anxiety. Its all about focusing on the current moment and not catastrophizing about the future. Thinking negatively until panic is an easily formed habit that can be broken by practicing meditation. One method is to sit upright and focus only on a simple physical sensation, such as your breathing. This technique is very helpful to calm the nervous system and strengthen it as well.

2. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can be imitated. CBT is a method some soldiers use to overcome post traumatic stress syndrome. It involves limited exposure and reliving of events which they are having trouble coping with. This exposure actually reduces the shock of such thoughts and makes the experience less difficult to mentally deal with. It doesn’t have to be a horrific event for this to work though. To combat stress, anyone can imagine themselves in a stressful situation and visualize how it must play out and end up OK at the end of the day. In this visualization, picture the negatives of the situation and the positives.

3. Bike and engage in cardio outside for resistance to stress. Breaking from and indoor gym and exercising outside has major benefits to the nervous system. In one study, rats that were physically active for part of the day had less sensitive and reactive nervous systems than the rats which had no exercise.

4. Let a pet boost your health. New research showed that owning an animal can have a significant benefit to oneshealth. In one military study, 82% of individuals suffering PTSD who were paired with a service dog felt a significant reduction in stress symptoms, while 40% were even able to lower their medications! Researchers are not sure why, but having a pet around positively affects the nervous system of their human owners. It is even shown that it raises serotonin levels.

5. Sleep to build mental strength for the tasks ahead. This one is a no brainer. Sleeping balances hormones which cause stress and promotes the ones that fight it. DHEA is an example. If you have a stressful day ahead, make sure you get yoyur 7-8 hours.
